I've just been letting the conversation flow so far. It's taken me
some time to get back into the swing of things after last week's
conference, but as you can see I've started responding to some of the
excellent posts to date.

I'm really interested in getting rich descriptions of the different
goals people have in their libraries, the way they're achieving those
goals today (work flow / task descriptions with various actors), and
how they would like to solve those goals given the availability of a
sufficiently magical library system (Evergreen, naturally!). I'm
confident that that kind of rich data will be quite useful for guiding
us in building solutions.
